Myrtle Danielson Greer, 95 of Warren died Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Oakland Park Communities in Thief River Falls, MN.
She was born October 3, 1915 to Charley and Anna (Kringsberg) Liden in Thief River Falls, MN. She attended school in Thief River Falls, MN. On July 20, 1935 she married Harold Danielson and they made their home in Alvarado, MN until his death on January 8, 1957. Myrtle remarried Bill Greer in March of 1967 and they made their home in Southerland, Oregon. After Bill’s death, Myrtle moved to Turner, Oregon and then to Warren in 2002. She worked at Alvarado Creamery, and cooked for a Fraternity in Grand Forks, a Sorority in Eugene Oregon and also cooked at Several bible camps. She was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Warren. She loved to Crochet until she lost her eye sight and also loved listening to her bible tapes.
Left to mourn her passing are children, Arlene Ginter of Warren, Elaine (Delvin) Potucek of Warren, Oliver (Dorothy) Danielson of Santa Clara, CA, Kathleen (Bob) Morris of Eagle River, AK, Roger (special friend Carol) Danielson of Felton, DE, Gary (Linda) Danielson of Salem, OR; sisters, Elma Harmon of Fridley and Jeannie (Oral) Ballentine of Salem, OR; 18 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold Danielson and William Greer; parents; 4 brothers; and 6 sisters; son in law Adolph Ginter; daughter in law, Evelyn Danileson; grandson, Dale Allen Ginter; great great grand-daughter, Alexis Van Houtan.
