PONTOTOC- Ms. Tommie Doris Moore (Toni) , 42, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born on November 4, 1974 to Juanita McNeal and Arthur Lee Rogers, Sr, in New Albany, MS. At an early age Tommie was joined with a adoptive family Anita R. Jones and the late Willard D. Jones of Belden, MS. She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Pleasant M.B. Church in Belden, later on she became a member of Inspiration Community Baptist Church, with no transportation she start going to First Non-Denominational Church of New Albany, MS. Tommie (Toni) was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Friend and family member. She didn’t meet any stranger.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories her loving children three sons: Dartavious Moore of New Albany, MS, Mareze Moore and Patrick Moore both of Pontotoc, MS. One daughter: Precious Moore of Pontotoc, MS. Adoptive Mother: Anita R. Jones of Belden, MS. Her Biological Parents: Juanita McNeal and Arthur Lee Rogers, Sr., both of New Albany, MS. Four sisters: Virginia Jones of Holly Springs, MS, Yvette Jones of Belden, MS, Carla Buford- Pierce (Patrick) of Houston, MS and Chasity Burden of Grenada, MS. Five brothers: Arthur (Shukina) Lee Rogers, Jr, Marcus Rogers, Jerry (Brandy) Rogers, Chris (Sara) Rogers all of New Albany, MS and Robert (Emily) Rogers of Nashville, TN. Five grandchildren: Justyce Anderson, D’niya Moore, Elijah Dakota Moore, Amirah Elizabeth Mullins, Ainsley Marie Jones. A special friend Ronnie Golden, and Crystal Bowling. She leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other family and friends.
Tommie was preceded in death by her adoptive father: Willard D. Jones, a brother: Dale Patrick McNeal and her grandparents.
