Ms. Joyce Ann Ray was born December 21, 1957 to the late Billy Fay Robbins and Doris Robbins in Union County, MS. Se departed this life on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at the home of her sister Juanita McNeal.
She worked at Carr’s Express until her health began to fail. She leaves to cherish her memories four children: Melinda Armstrong (Pokie) of Houston, MS, Kevin Ray of Tupelo, MS, Lewis Ray of fulton, MS and Steve Ray (Wendy) of White Oak Ripley, MS; seven sisters: Mary Jackson (Billy), Juanita McNeal, Varnise Frazier, Earnise Riddle, Jewel Robbins, Ida Ruth Foster, Annie Sarah Foster (Earnest) all of New Albany, MS,; one brother: Billy Earl Robbins of Chicago, IL; eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, her children’s father: Bobby Ray, two close relatives: Jewel E. Robbins and Gresha Jackson, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three siblings: Luther Charles Robbins, Dennis Robbins and Henry Robbins.
