NEW ALBANY- Mrs. Wilma Rogers, 88, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at her home in New Albany. She was born on April 11, 1929 in Ashland, MS to the late Mattie and Andy B. Smith. At an early age she professed a hope in Christ and united with Shady Grove M.B. Church where she remained a member until her home-going. “Miss Wilma” was a hard worker. Working in private homes, manufacturing and many other jobs that enabled her to raise, nature, and educate her family.
