Another steel magnolia has fallen. Sue Ward Pugh passed away, Monday, April 3, 2023, with her three daughters by her side. She was born February 16, 1936 in Dresden, TN, to the late John D. Ward and Mary L. Bowlin. She retired as the Sherman Town Clerk, where she enjoyed her public service. She was the BEST cook and loved being a Red-Hatter. She was a frequent patron at the local Bingo Hall and was always up for the occasional longer trip to Tunica. Even more importantly, she adored Elvis Presley and everyone knew it!
