Camilla accepted Christ as her Lord and savior at an early age and built a foundation of faith through membership at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, Como, Mississippi.
A TIME TO LOVE
Camilla loved and married the late Ernest “Dude” Kennedy, after graduating from Mississippi Industrial College, Holly Springs, MS. She became a member of Watson Grove Missionary Baptist Church in New Albany, MS.
A TIME TO WORK
Camilla was an Educator in the New Albany school system beginning her teaching career at Union County Training School (later B.F. Ford). She retired from teaching.
A TIME TO MOURN
Camilla leaves to mourn her passing one daughter, Janice Kennedy Belle, one grandson, Errod K. Belle, two great-grandchildren, two nieces, two nephews and many friends and those who cared for her until her homegoing.
