SHERMAN- Mr. William (Will) Thomas Pugh, 81, of Sherman, MS, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, with his loving family at his side. He was born April 28, 1936, in Etta, MS, to the late Thomas Eldridge Pugh and Mamie Sue Coffey. He was a veteran of the armed forces and served in the Korean War. He retired from Truck Center of Tupelo is 1996. He was a member of Sherman Baptist Church and he was a member of R.E. Lee Masonic Lodge. Will’s interests included hunting, raising and trading dogs, and playing dominoes with “the men.” He was devoted to his family and friends and found great joy in helping others. For example, you couldn’t find a better baby sitter and/or taxi driver for the grand and great grand kids! Will was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Nancy Williams.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sue (Ward) Pugh, his three loving daughters: Lana Coker (Roger), Tina Ward-Pugh (Laura Ryan) of Louisville, KY, Dana Coker, his grandchildren: April Mitchell (Brad), Dale Coker (Brittney), Kayla Coker Hill, T.J. Coker and Tori Self (Robbie), and his great-grandchildren: Riley, Karson and Allie Mitchell, Haisley, Evie and Axton Coker, Cadence and Chloie Hill and Preston Coker Walls, Ethan, Easton and Ean Self, his niece, Jill and great-nephew, Thomas.
