He was born on June 7, 1936 in Oakland, MS to the late Mr. Sam Brown, Sr., and Mrs. Rebbie Brown. He later moved to Holly Springs as a teenager. He accepted Christ at an early age. He worked as a construction worker, until his health begin to fail him.
