Mr. Boswell Ray Raines, 80, was born April 5, 1037, to Joe and Flossie Blackard Raines in Union County, MS. He passed away on Monday May 29, 2017, at North Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and a retired tractor mechanic.
He is survived by two sons; Johnny Raines, Sr., and Mark Raines; three grandchildren, Johnny Raines, Jr. (Tiffany), Christopher Raines, and Montana Wren (Brad); six great-grandchildren, Mattie, Jack, Raylee, Autumn Wren, Maggie, and Owen Wren; one brother, James Raines and one sister, Flora Coghran.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, “Ruby” Jerlene; a grandson, Jeremy Matthew Raines; four sisters and one brother.
