EULOGY WRITTEN BY DAUGHTER ROSE KRIKORIAN
Dad, you were born April 19, 1940 in Jarblus, Syria. The son of Rosin and Yessai Dermenjian, The brother of Harout, Zonvinar and Kevork, your mother and father loved you dearly. You married Vera Dermenjian , and within that union of marriage, you gave life to Rose and Shant. You are also the grandfather of Alyssa, Katie, and Ryan.
You had an adventurous spirit. We are all thankful for that. Because of you, many of us here, today, were able to immigrate to the United States. WhatI remeber most was your zest for life. You loved not only your wife and kids, but everyone else around you. You’d invite family and friends for a gooid barbeque and a drink of Ouzo. Maybe the Ouzo was a little strong, but nothing a little extra ice cubes and water couldn’t fix.
What I remember most was your love of photography, something I share with you. Unfortunately, it didn’t always go well. There were many pictures of the ceiling and the floor, but the poassion was always there. You were quite the character. You always made life interesting. And some of our family trips have left us with the best memories of you.
Your health, this past year, was challenging, and I am at peace that the suffering has ended and thgat you are with your mom and dad. I know how much you loved them and you are with them in heaven. You will be dearly missed by your family and friends. Rest in peace, you will always be in our hearts.
THANK YOU
