Mildred Hazel Booker, 92, of Steelville, MO passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, MO. She was born on August 6, 1915 in Steelville to Roy and Lydia Grace (Brown) Coleman. On April 10, 1938, she was united in marriage to Hubert W. Booker who preceded her in death on January 7, 1985.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Marsha McSpadden and husband Larry of Florissant, MO; one brother, Haskell Coleman and wife Leatha of Windsor, Colorado; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hubert Booker, an infant son, Roy Booker, two brothers, Glen Coleman and Kenneth Coleman and two sisters, Ruth Killebrew and Mabel McCarthy.

Mildred was well known for her quilting, canning and making of peanut brittle. She loved sharing her talents with her dear friends and community.
She enjoyed reading when her health permitted and walking.

Mildred attended the First Assembly of God Church in Steelville for many years.
