Mike was born June 10, 1934 to Otto and Hazel (Coomes) Wetter in New Ulm. He graduated from Lamberton High School-1952. Mike married Elaine Bjelde in 1953. They Lived in Gaylord and Mankato area with 4 children: Larry, Laurie, Keith, and Kathy. In August of 1972, Mike married Marlene “Sis” Anderson and had a daughter, Kimberly.
He is survived by children; Keith Wetter of Mankato; Laurie (Donn) Lind of Spring Green, WI; Kathy (Vern) Watters of Aitkin, MN; Kim McGregor and special friend, Shane Scarset of North Mankato; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
Mike is preceded in death by his wife, Sis Wetter and son, Larry Wetter; five brothers, and two sisters.
