Michael T. Garrett of Hillsboro, MD died Friday, December 2, 2016, at the UofM Shore Medical Center at Easton, MD. He was 70 years old. Born in Easton, Mr. Garrett was the son of the late James Alexander Garrett and Sara Spies Garrett. He was a U.S. Army Viet Nam veteran. He had retired from the Lebanon Chemical Company in Denton. Mr. Garrett is survived by his wife, Maribeth Naylor Garrett of Hillsboro; one son, Michael T. Garrett, Jr. of Hillsboro and two daughters Jennifer Dorr (Chris) of Denton and Heidi Friel (Mike); two step Children, Paula Hill and Mark Hill, both of Denton; one sister, Sandy Dulin of Easton; two brothers: Jimmy Garrett of Easton and Charles Garrett of Preston; and five grandchildren: Delaney Dorr, Ella Dorr, Tristan Friel, Tommy Friel, and Nathan Friel. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Garrett, and a brother, Steve Garrett.
