Michael was a sophomore at Portland High School and loved attending dances at school and MDA Camp. He was an avid University of Michigan fan and loved football, video games, Elvis Presley, and his dog Harley. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell and Mary Warren; Great Grandma and Grandpa Niemeyer; Great Grandma and Grandpa Hoorman. Surviving are his parents, Mike and Trish Hoorman of Portland; brothers, Russell, Nathan, and Phillip Austin; sister, Mandy Hoorman; grandparents, Gene and Ruth Hoorman; aunts, Jeannie (Carl) Robbennolt, Debbie Mumper, and Laurie (Tom) Hageman; uncle, Bob (Emily) Hoorman; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
