Portland – Michael Austin Perry, 61, of Florida, formerly of Portland, passed away on June 15, 2013 in Portland. He was born on May 17, 1952, the son of Eugene and Shirley (Lund) Perry. He was raised in Portland, before moving to Florida in 1983.
Michael has been an avid, self-taught professional guitar player. He began playing at the age of six. He was the founding member of the band “Midnight,” who rocked the Portland area for many years. In later years he played in the Tampa Bay, Florida area, rocking with many friends there.
