Obituary
Michael J. Addesa of O’Fallon passed away on January 23rd, 2019, at the age of 43. He is survived by his mother Elaine (Paul) Welch née Ptak of Salisbury, NC; three brothers; Dominic (Courtney Smith) Addesa of O’Fallon, Ray (Lori) Addesa of Wentzville, and Ryan (Evita) Lopez of Corpus Christi, TX; two sisters, Dawn (Eric Badger) Terrizzi of Atlanta, GA, and Amy Barton of Brooklyn, NY. He is also survived by a large extended family including many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father William J. Addesa. Mike was a 1994 graduate of Fort Zumwalt North High School. He was a former bus driver for the Fort Zumwalt School District and a Poker Dealer for 15 years at casinos in both New Orleans and St. Louis. Mike enjoyed gambling, reading, and refurbishing antique watches, but his favorite pastime was fishing with his brothers Dominic and Ray. He will be remembered for his good humor and unfailing smile. Mike was a truly gentle soul who has left a lasting impression on all who knew him. A Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends is planned for a future date.
