Merlin E. Walther, 84, of Hermann, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Capital Region Medical Center , Jefferson City, Missouri.
Merlin was born in Gasconade, Missouri on July 24, 1931, the son of the late Edwin & Leona (Modrow) Walther.
Merlin proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, where he was stationed in Germany. He worked for Western Union for 35 years as a mechanical trouble shooter.
Merlin is survived by many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents.
