Melvin “Mel” Jackson of Wentzville, MO passed away February 22, 2023. He is survived by his beloved wife Alice of 67 years; daughters, Pam Woods (Mike) of Wentzville, Lisa Ross (Rick) of St. Charles, Karen King (Kenny) of Washington, and Stacey Hardin (Brian) of Kansas City; loved by his grandchildren, Kip, Kaela, Kelly, Brooke, Kasie, Kyle, Brinley, and Keegan; great-grandchildren, Kaden, Gavin, Teagen, Elena, Chase, Tatum, Sawyer, Emerson, Hadley, and Declan; his sister, Kathryn Hands and brother, Michael Palmer.
Mel did not know a stranger; he had a quick and witty sense of humor that people enjoyed being around. He loved baseball but was best known for his softball pitching ability. He cherished his long time friendships made from it.
