Melissa Mae Ulrich, age 46, formerly of Stillwater, MN, passed away peacefully March 13 with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her Grandmother Ruth Marciniak, Grandparents Fritz and Ruth Ulrich, and Uncle Roy Ulrich, She is survived by her parents Joan and Andrew Ulrich, Brother Brian, Grandfather James Marciniak, Aunts and Uncles; Dr. Neil and Debra Bealka, Ron Marciniak, Tim and Carol Berth, Thomas and Kathy Ulrick, Susan Ulrich, cat Miss Merelda, and many cousins, friends, neighbors, and colleagues.
After graduating from Stillwater High School, she pursued a degree and career in Marketing and Design where she worked successfully in the banking and financial arenas, most recently in the Healthcare Market as Marketing Manager for Optum. She had a knack for style, visual design, and writing. She loved cats and dogs dearly, and enjoyed gardening, home improvement, photography, papercraft, holidays, hanging out with friends, golf, cooking, and traveling. She volunteered for charities and was involved in her church. She was a strong and fiercely independent woman who endured and conquered more than her fair share of life’s challenges. It is a tragedy and fills us with the deepest sorrow that she leaves us far too soon, but she will live on eternally in our hearts. We will all miss her dearly. Rest in peace.
