Maurice Henry Klott, 81, of Hermann, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Hermann Area District Hospital.
Mr. Klott was born in Hermann, Missouri on May 16, 1929, the son of the late William J. and Colette A. (Schneider) Klott.
He was the husband of Peggy J. (Heberle) Klott. They were married April 7, 1956 at St. George Church, Hermann, MO, she survives in Hermann.
Maurice is also survived by three daughters Agnes Lackman of Hermann, Nadine Pruessner & husband Joe of New Haven and Carol Brandt and husband Glenn of Hermann and a son Daniel Klott & wife Donna of Washington, Missouri, by brothers James Klott & wife Betty of Hermann, Tony Klott & wife Bonnie of Bowling Green, Missouri, sisters Eleanor Heberle of Hermann, Joan Eckerle & husband Norman of New Haven, Bernadette Overkamp & husband Norbert of Waukesha, Wisconsin, grandchildren John Lackman & wife Calah, Tiffany Lackman, Danielle, Jared & Bobby Pruessner, Michael & Gregory Brandt and Jeffrey & Jodi Klott and two great grandchildren Jack & Caroline Lackman. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Leo Klott.
He was a member of St. George Church Hermann, Missouri and the Hermann V.F.W. Post 4182. He worked as an assistant superintendent at Florsheim Shoe Company and served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953.
