Age 71, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 24, 2011. She was born August 23, 1940 and raised by Roman and Elizabeth Thelen. MaryAnn was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers Society and the choir. She was a 4H Leader, enjoyed working in catering and volunteered many hours at Hospice for 27 years. MaryAnn loved reading, gardening and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Judy. Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Fred; children JoAnn (Ron) Simon, Sharon (Jerry) Thelen, Cindy (Tom) Schrauben, Kevin (Jennifer) Hengesbach, Susie (Eric) Simon and Sandy (Matt) Klein; 19 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Gene (Kathy) Hengesbach.
