Mary “Pat” Patricia Jarvis

Age 93, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014. She was born on November 22, 1920 in Ionia County, MI the daughter of Fred and Nancy (Reed) Jarvis. Pat worked for Dr. Elsie Chiropractic, Jean’s Restaurant, and also worked many years at the Portland Country Club, where a golf event was even named in her honor. After retirement, she spent many winters in Florida. In her later years, she especially enjoyed the companionship at the Portland Senior Center, playing cards and socializing. Pat was definitely a one-of-a-kind character. Preceding her in death were her parents. Surviving are her cousins, Hazel (Ron) Simmons of Mulliken, Charles (Shirley) Reed of Lansing, Bonnie McDiarmid of Knoxville, TN, Nancy Harmon, Ed Green and Paul Green, all of Portland, as well as all of their extended families.
