Mary Lena Hodges, 84, of Veedersburg, IN, formerly of Piedmont, MO, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Piedmont, MO, December 1, 1937, to parents Mike Lee and Hallie Jane (Kinnamore) Barfield.
Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a Christian and a member of Harvest Baptist Church. Mary worked at General Electric for thirty-one years before retiring.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son: William “Bill” Pierce; brothers: Charles, and Robert Barfield; sisters: Nellie Percy, Pauline Reed, and Shirley Slevin.
Mary is survived by her sons: Jason Hodges and Ashley Hulvey of Veedersburg, IN, Richard Pierce; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother: Larry Barfield. Mary will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
