Born in Baltimore, MD, Mrs. Simms was the daughter of the late John Wesley Lovell and Mary Cecilia Joan Aiken Lovell. Her husband, Fred Allen Simms, died November 4, 2016.
Mrs. Simms was a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Theresa Yingling (Bryan) of PA AND Annette Constantino (Jerry) with whom she lived in Denton; six grandchildren: Brad, Derek, Nicholas, Camden, Connor, and Isabella; and eight great grandchildren: Kyle, Austin, Keara, Kacie, Julius, Alec, and Leighton, and Sadie.
