Age 53, our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend was called home to our Lord on June 3, 2010. Her courageous two year battle with Leukemia ended peacefully surrounded by family at her home on Pleasant Street. Mary was known for her compassion, loving and giving nature, her strong Christian faith, her sense of humor and her beautiful smile. Mary is a recent recipient of Spring Arbor University’s Honorary Alumni Award, Bachelor of Family Life Education Program to which she worked very hard to achieve. She was a former employee of the Eaton County Sheriff’s Department as a deputy and worked there for 13 years.
