Mary Belle Chandler, nee Worley, of Arnold, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 89 years, 11 months and 13 days. She was born August 29, 1926 at Shoal Creek, Missouri to Marion and Myrtle Turnbough Worley. On May 22, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Halic “Whitey” Chandler who preceded her in death.
Mary Belle loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals on TV, working in her yard and her flower garden. She was always known for having an immaculate home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband “Whitey” Chandler; one son, Lennie Chandler; four brothers, Cleatis Worley, Clifton Worley, Joe Worley and Homer Worley; and two sisters, Argie Worley and Rose Hammonds and husband Norman.
She will be sadly missed by her one son, Larry Chandler and wife Jo Anne of DeSoto MO; daughter-in-law, Heather Chandler of Arnold, MO; two sisters, Ardell Evans and husband Ellis of Steelville, MO and Ruby Lowery and husband Jim of Arnold, MO; one sister-in-law, Linda Worley of Hillsboro, MO; eight grandchildren, Tammy Cardona and husband Ty, Wendy Thomas and husband John, Todd Chandler and wife Annette, Terry Chandler and wife Angie, Jennifer Koeln and husband Matt, Amanda Boyd and husband Matt, Colter Chandler and Levi Chandler; twenty great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
The Family received friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Honored to be casket bearers were Tyler Cardona, Chad Ray Boxdorfer, Gage Boxdorfer, Travis Cardona, Parker Boyd and Chad Boxdorfer.
