Mary Annabelle Conaway of House Springs, MO passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 in St. Clair, MO at the age of 86 years. She was born March 22, 1925 in Dillard, MO to Newton Wesley Setzer and Ida Angeline (Baker) Setzer. On December 15, 1951, she was united in marriage to Ines Conaway who preceded her in death in 2003.

 In her younger years, Mary made several quilts, enjoyed watching the Nascar races and  playing the organ and singing. She owned her own beauty shop in South St. Louis for over twenty-five years.

She will be sadly missed by her son James Askins and wife Patricia of Dittmer, MO; daughter Judy Annaray Ellsworth and husband Dean of Troy, MO; six grandchildren Rodney D. Ellsworth and wife Karen of St. Charles, MO, Machelle Kay Wooster and husband David of Hartford, CT, Theresa Faye DeWitt and husband Ronald  and Jeffrey James Askins and wife Andrea all of House Springs, MO, Vincent Wesley Askins and wife Christine of High Ridge, MO, Rebecca Renee Bailey and husband Bryan of Grubville, MO; fourteen great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ines Conaway; four brothers Dellion, Ray, Floyd and Howard Setzer; and four sisters Martha, Margaret, Mildred and Mandy.

The Family received friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Honored to be casket bearers were Rodney Ellsworth, Jeffrey Askins, Vincent Askins, Bryan Bailey, Ron DeWitt and Eric Ellsworth.
