On July 15, 2022, Mary Ann Frymark (Bychinski) of Odenton, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Herbert F. Frymark; her children, Herbert Jr. (Tobi), Lynn Young (Gary), Hugh Frymark (Pamela), Michael Frymark (Laura), Amy Hegarty (James), Christopher Frymark (Kimberly), Theodore Frymark (Catherine), and Benjamin Frymark. She is also survived by her sister Donna Hagengruber, and her 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Angeline Bychinski, brothers Leo and Clarence Bychinski and sisters Dorothy Wenzel and Barbara Egle.

Mary Ann was born in Wausau, Wisconsin on January 27, 1935. A few years after high school, and a cross-country road trip, she moved with a friend to the big city of Milwaukee to find work. There she eventually met a young Marquette University student named Herbert, and they married in 1959. After a brief stint in Miami – where their first son was born – they settled in the suburbs of Washington, DC.

After raising her eight children, she returned to complete her AA degree at Prince George’s Community College and worked as a bookkeeper at Business Publishers, Inc. in Silver Spring for many years.

Mary Ann’s faith was a central part of her life and she joyfully gave countless hours of service and worship to her parishes, St. Joseph’s Beltsville, and eventually St. Joseph’s, Odenton. Mary Ann always put the needs of others before her own, and would drop anything to help a friend. She remained strongly connected to her Wausau family and roots, and carried the faith and values that she learned growing up there with her every day.
