Marvin R. Pippin of Easton, MD, died at his home on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. He was 89 years old. Born in Whiteleysburg, MD on March 16, 1927, Mr. Pippin was the son of the late Roland Beal Pippin and Mildred Carroll Pippin. He was a 1944 graduate of the Greensboro High School and served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. He was a retired auditor for the State of Maryland. He had been a member of the Caroline American Legion Post 29 and the VFW Memorial Post 7937. He was also a member of St. Mark’s UMC and the Hyde Parker’s Club. Mr. Pippin is survived by his wife, Ruth A. Pippin of Easton; two sons, M. Alan Pippin (Barbara) and Larry C. Pippin , both of Denton, MD; one daughter, Penny Cohey (Bart) of Cordova; a sister, Carol Deimler of Dover, DE; 4 grandchildren, Christy Thompson (Budd), Melissa McHenry (Todd), Robin Breeding (Tyler), and Adam Cawley (Caitlyn); 6 great grandchildren, Emily, Megan, Morgan, Abe, Kit, and Pyper.
