Age 55, went home to be with his Lord on February 20, 2009. He was born on September 5, 1953 full of life and love the son of Joyce Martin and Robert Benbow. Buddy was well loved by all, his family, his friends, his church and co-workers. He always shared words of encouragement, sincere hugs, laughter and love with all. Buddy played guitar for the Portland Church of the Nazarene Praise Band, he loved to sing for the Lord. He was a talented musician, whose music will be missed! He was a loving and faithful husband for over 37 years to his wife, Katie. They shared a rare, deep love that many envied. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. Surviving are his wife and best friend, Katie; son, Mark; daughter, Nicole (Ben Quinn); grandchildren Austin, Tiara (Steele), Cierra, Macy and Logan Quinn; mother Joyce Martin; Brothers and sisters Mick (Bev) Benbow, Diane(Dar) Benjamin, Steve Benbow, Bruce (Kathy) Benbow and Debbie Butler.
