Marion B. Licata passed away July 16, 2019 in Dearborn, Michigan. She was born in Highland Park, Michigan on August 16, 1920 to James Bush and Evelyn Young Bush, the youngest of 3 children. As a child she spent her younger years with her grandparents in Corruna, while her parents were working. The family moved many times over Marion’s childhood and stayed for the summer months in a cottage, that her father built for her mother’s health, in a small town north of Port Huron. Marion almost was a permanent resident of California in 1926 when her family moved there. But an emergency brought them back to Michigan, where they eventually stayed, and then graduated from Cooley High School in Detroit. Wayne University was where Marion met Anthony Licata in 1939, marrying in 1940.
