Marilyn L. Rosburg passed away on February 18, 2021 at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of the late Fredrick “Fritz” Rosburg of Foristell, Missouri; She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Jim) Allen of Bowling Green, MO, son, Paul (Cindy) Rosburg of Chesterfield, MO, daughter, Marian (Tom) Govreau of Overland Park, KS; son, Lyle (Lori) Rosburg of Jefferson City, MO; grandchildren, Andrew, Austin, Ryan, Emma; great-grandchildren, Addison and Mackenzie; brother, Manvel Holt of Foristell, MO; special lifelong BFF, Mabel Busdieker; two brothers-in-law, and three sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Holt, mother, Hilda Schemmer, and husband, Fredrick “Fritz” Rosburg. Marilyn attended Oakdale one room school house. She graduated from Wright City High School and Kirksville State Teachers College in Kirksville, MO which is now Truman State University. She was married for 50 years to Fritz Rosburg. Marilyn was raised in the house where she was born. She raised her children in that same house. She traveled with Fritz to all 50 states, Europe, and Costa Rica. Marilyn liked to quilt, crochet, sew, and ride her four-wheeler. She attended many of her children and grandchildren’s events. She was a member of the Liberty Grove Extension Club and Faith UCC. Marilyn enjoyed her time at Lynn’s Heritage House in Louisiana, MO. Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
