Marie Sophie Hackmann, 85, of Gasconade, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Frene Valley Health Center, Hermann, Missouri.
Mrs. Hackmann was born in Hope, Missouri on February 7, 1928, the daughter of the late Simon and Ida (Kuester) Erfling.
She was the widow of Harold Edward Hackmann. They were married May 3, 1947 at St. James U.C.C., Morrison, MO.
She was a member of St. James United Church of Christ Morrison, Missouri and she was a homemaker.
Marie is survived by four daughters Elaine Hackmann of Gasconade, Evelyn Maffei and husband Albert of Ogden, Kansas, Marsha Schultz and husband Earnest of Louisburg, Kansas and Vivian Crabtree of Osawatomie, Kansas, by five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Harold Hackmann, Jr., by seven brothers and four sisters.
