Obituary
Marie E. Kiel passed away on March 16, 2018 at the age of 92. She is survived by her six children, Margaret (Kenny) Orf of Wentzville, MO, Melvin “Sonny” (Virginia “Shorty”) Kiel, Jr. of Herman, MO, Marcella Boschert of Jonesburg, MO, Marvin (Sheri) Kiel of Saint Louis, MO, Mark (Dianne) Kiel of Wentzville, MO, Marsha Kiel of Wentzville, MO; brother, Vincent Eschbach of Newman, GA; sister-in-law, Lorraine Eschbach of Memphis, TN; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, John W. Eschbach, mother, Mary Ann Eschbach, husband, Melvin Kiel, Sr., granddaughter, Christina Orf. Marie was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Josephville, where she was active in St. Elizabeth’s Sodality. She enjoyed fishing and gardening and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues fan. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
