Marie Antoinette (NEE Dugas) Sabatini, age 82
Died peacefully on June 24, 2010, at the Marywood Nursing Care Center in Livonia where she resided for the past two and a half years.
She was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 27, 1928 to the late Milton Gustave (Chevalier) Dugas Sr. and Hilda Mary (Poche) who survives.
She is survived by her 9 children: Leonard (Linda), Chillicothe, OH; Gerald (Barbara), Plymouth, MI; Diana Burke, Boca Raton, FL; Kenneth (Yolanda), Garden City, MI; Robert (Anita), Livonia, MI; Richard (Mary), Dearborn Heights, MI; Dominic (Pauline), Chesterfield, MI; Yola (Mark) Okster, Novi, MI; and Jeanine (Mark) Bourcier, Canton, MI.
She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Dominic Alfred (Sarti) Sabatini in 1995.

Her 2 surviving great-grandchildren are: Collin Blair Meiser, West Chester, OH; Dominic Christian Sabatini, Northville, MI.
She is also survived by her siblings: Yola (John) Stencel, Livonia, MI; Eugenia Grzywacz, Livonia, MI; Milton G.(Diane) Jr., South Lyons, MI.
Marie was a 1946 graduate of St. Benedict HS (Highland Park, MI) and 1950 graduate of Marygrove College (Detroit). She played the accordion and on many summer Friday nights played for her family and neighbors on her porch in Detroit. Before raisng a family, Marie worked for the United Foundation of Detroit in the Graphic Arts Dept. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Parish, Dearborn Heights, MI and was a member of their 1st Parish Council in 1965. Marie was also an avid bingo player and bowler and enjoyed socializing with her friends at both.
