Mrs. Showers loved her plants, birds, and cat and loved going for rides. She loved listening to music and doing crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ivan Showers; sisters, Nancy McCall and Ilah Haysmer; brothers, Alfred, Thomas, and Bob Mason, and Herb Haysmer. Surviving are his children, Nancy (John) Gipson of Grandville, Johnny Smejkal of Cutlervillle, Tramma (Ken) Skaggs of Sheridan, and Kenneth Austin of Grand Rapids; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; siblings, Janette Phillips, Dorman (Charlene) Mason, and Gerald Mason; several nieces and nephews.
