Marguerite Jadeke, 88, of rural Warren, MN, passed away on Thursday morning, October 1, 2020 at Minnesota Greenleaf in Thief River Falls, MN.
Marie Marguerite Troska was born on July 16, 1932 in Marshall County, MN, the daughter of Sullivan and Lillie (Kurowski) Troska. She attended country school and Crookston AC. After her schooling, Marguerite worked at the Warren Hospital for several years. On April 4, 1959, she was united in marriage to Edward Jadeke at Thief River Falls, MN. They made their home in Brislet Township where they farmed. Edward died on July 14, 2005.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting, doing ceramics, sewing and baking. Marguerite was known for her bread and flatbread. She was a hardworking farm wife who was willing to help out on the farm and she made sure that everyone was well fed. The coffee pot was always on and she made sure that there were cookies and bars for when people would stop over. Her family was very important to her, especially her grandchildren who she loved dearly.
Marguerite was always helping take care of people in the community.
Left to mourn her passing are three children, Debra Forbes of Richmond, VA, David (Brenda) Jadeke of Warren, MN and Denise (Jody) Gudvangen of Fertile, MN; eight grandchildren; Tyler and Kayla Pilon, Kyle (Kanyakorn “Vickie”) and Kory Forbes, Paige and Brady Jadeke and Chesney and Hailey Gudvangen; three great-grandchildren, Sea-O, Sand and Spencer; brothers, Roger (Bonnie) Troska and Paul (Nancy) Troska; sister-in-laws, Betty Troska and Phyllis Troska and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; daughters, Deanne Pilon and Donna Jadeke; sons-in-law, Michael Forbes and Brian Pilon; sisters and brothers-in-law, Adelle and Arnold Kostrzewski and Ardyce and David Riggs and brothers, Henry Troska and Harvey Troska.
