Margaret Lucille Anderson, nee Callahan, of Steelville, Missouri passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at Gibbs Care Center in Steelville at the age of eighty-four. She was born July 30, 1927 in Cherryville, Missouri to Edward and Myrtle (Murray) Callahan. In the year 1967 at Steelville, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Carson William Anderson who preceded her in death on September 13, 1986
Margaret was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, shopping, going to yard sales and taking care of her plants. She also enjoyed her collection of Winnie the Pooh and dolls.
She will be sadly missed by her son Bill Anderson and wife Kathy of Steelville, MO; two daughters Judy Chandler and husband Lonnie of Steelville, MO and Diane Barton and husband Bill of Salem, MO; one son-in-law Utah Cassidy of Steelville, MO; sixteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Carson; one daughter Faye Cassidy; four brothers Ivy Callahan, Harvey Callahan, Floyd Callahan and Glen Callahan; two sisters Mildred Walker and Erma Quinton; and one grandson Lonnie Chandler.
The Family received friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Honored to be casket bearers were Russell Counts, Lonnie E. Chandler II, Dakota Brown, Justin Trout, Austin Halbert and Carl Shipley.
