Our mother, Margaret M. Gerszewski, physically departed our world on August 4, 2016. Although she no longer walks among us, she will be forever in our hearts and the hearts of many.

Born December 14, 1924 at home in rural Warren, MN, the daughter of Paul and Cecelia (Hapka) Staloch. She graduated from Argyle High School and attended Aakers Business College in Grand Forks, ND. She worked at Employers Overload in Minneapolis, MN for several years.

She married her husband William Valentine Gerszewski on November 18, 1946. They sold their farm West of Argyle to purchase her parents farm (Paul and Cecelia Staloch) East of Argyle. Together, throughout hardship and love, they shared a wonderful life together with family and friends, while farming , traveling and dancing. Besides changing the landscape of the original farm place, our parents built a spacious new home in the seventies and a pole barn after the dairy barn was demolished in a fire. Margaret helped out with the farming, farm business and babysitting grandchildren and neighbor children.

We the children, Karin Ann (Mrs. Joe Griffin) born October 8, 1947; Gary Paul born November 4, 1957; Mark Alexander (Peggy) born November 16, 1959 shall forever remember you as will your grandchildren, Tamara Fleischhaker, Angela Gerszewski, Alicia (Jake) Henly, Aaron (Heather) Gerszewski, and Alexander Gerszewski. We are likewise happy that you have had the opportunity to spend time with your great-grand-children, Malachi Gerszewski, Teriana Richards, Megan Gerszewski, William Henly, Olivia Gerszewski and Jackson Henly..

She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Cecelia, Husband, William Valentine Gerszewski, Her stillborn son Eugene, Grandson Aric Gerszewski , Brothers-in-law, Leo, Alex, Ray, Peter, Joseph, Chester, Edward Smith, John Kostrzewski, Cyril Seeba, Joseph Kazmierczak, Bob Lechner and Alfred Sevigny, Sisters-in-law, Eleanor Smith, Maggie Kostrzewski, Selma (Raymond) Gerszewski and Mary (Chester) Gerszewski.

The Soul is Immortal as shall our memories of our mother Margaret Gerszewski. We love you and someday we will see you again speeding away in heaven with your own wings. When you are playing Farkle, will they allow you to add up the Dice?
