Margaret “Margie” F. Gutierrez, 87, of Steelville passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008 at her home. She was born October 20, 1920 in Poplar Bluff, MO to Marshall and Stella (Branum) Fairless. On November 21, 1966 she was united in marriage to Julian Gutierrez who survives of the home.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of forty-one years; three sons, Jonathon Gutierrez of San Francisco, CA, David Monroe and wife Neleta of Riverton, WY and Larry Monroe and wife of Kayoko, Mustang, OK; two sisters, Nancy Nessing and husband Pierre of Florissant, MO and Pat Mason of Alton, IL; three grand-children, Paula Monroe and husband Mike Henry of Denver, CO, Shane Monroe and Katrina Monroe of Los Angeles, CA; two step-grandchildren, Michael and Brian Clark of Gillette, WY; six great-grandchildren, Simon Monroe of Pass Creek, BC, Ashly, Alicia, Gage, Tanner and Autumn Clark all of Gillette, WY; other relatives and friends.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson, Dean Allen Monroe.
When her health permitted, Margie enjoyed reading, embroidery and most of all taking care of her family.
Margie attended the First Assembly of God Church in Steelville which was a very important part of her life.
