Mae Violet Robinson of St. James was born on May 5, 1925 to Martin Krepps and Amelia Rudolph Krepps. Mae passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the age of 89 years 2 months and 12 days of age surrounded by all of her children.
Mae was united in marriage to Ransom M. Robinson on February 22, 1943, and to this union six children were born: Sandra Lee, Terry Paul, David Gerald, Donna Christine, Michael Allen, and Timothy Wayne.
Mae was a business woman with a personal touch. Mae owned and operated three florists in St. James, Steelville and Cuba. Mae never lacked for kind words and concern for her customers – she took the time to get to know those she served. Her enjoyment of working with people caused her to work into her mid-seventies. Mae loved her family and helped them all in time of need. We know she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Mae Robinson is survived by her sons: Terry Robinson and wife Jackie of Thompson, MO; David Robinson and wife Kim of Cuba, MO; Michael Robinson and wife Barbara of Cuba, Timothy Robinson and wife Neomia of Rolla; and daughters: Sandra Dunning of Corpus Christi, TX; Donna Farmer and husband Paul of Jefferson City; as well as 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.
Mae Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Ransom Robinson who entered into rest May 26, 2001, brothers: John, Bob Art and Billy, and sisters: Dorthy Sahyno, Ruth Kallial and June Mitchell.
