Madeline G. Kerola, age 93, of Virginia died Thursday, April 27, 2017, at the Eveleth Fitzgerald Nursing Home with family at her side. She was born September 18, 1923 in Eveleth the daughter of George and Ann (Olsen) Moe. She graduated from Gilbert High School and went on to attend Virginia Jr. College and the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing where she received her RN degree. She was united in marriage to Edward N. Kerola on March 5, 1977.

Madeline worked as a Registered Nurse in Chicago and Pittsburgh and then moved back to Virginia where she finished her career at the Virginia Hospital. She was a member of Gethsemane Evangelical Lutheran Church and served in the Priscilla Circle. She was a member of the Virginia Study Club and the Virginia Women’s Golf Club.
