Lynda LaDonne Ashburn, 70, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 4:30 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2019, at Sunset Home in Quincy, IL.
Lynda was born on October 11, 1948, in Denver, CO the daughter of Robert Earl and Alice LaDonne (Miller) Wehrenberg, Sr.
Lynda was united in marriage to Ronald Ray Ashburn on April 26, 1970 at Calvary Baptist Church in Hannibal. He preceded her in death on November 2, 2018.
Survivors include a son, Ben Ashburn and wife Jennifer of Austin, TX; a daughter, Megan Duncan and husband Shawn of Hannibal, MO; nine grandchildren, Connor Duncan, Logan Duncan, Caleb Ashburn, Katie Ashburn, Nathan Ashburn, Noah Ashburn, Mirlanda Ashburn, Mackenson Ashburn and Mackenley Ashburn; brother, Robert Wehrenberg, Jr. and wife Betty of Hannibal, MO and nieces Amanda Puderbaugh (Aaron) and Amy Heim (John).
Mrs. Ashburn was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Lynda was a talented artist. She had the art of making handmade ceramics and enjoyed selling them at her shop in Hannibal “Lynda’s Ceramics” for several years. In her younger years, Lynda worked as a travel agent while her husband Ronald was in Pharmacy School.
Lynda also enjoyed the art of gardening and decorating. She cherished her animals and feeding the wildlife in her back yard.
Her biggest love was her family and the time they cherished together. One of the many traits her family will remember by was her sense of humor.
Lynda was Christian by faith.
