Age 88, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 20009. He was born on May 17, 1921 in Ronald Township, MI the son of Sam and Lena (Phillips) Clifford. Mr. Clifford lived in the Ionia/Palo area most of his life and retired from the City of Ionia after 27 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, woodworking, playing cards and socializing with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Katherine (Parker) Clifford; daughter, Mary Ellen Clifford. Surviving are his children, Jane Clifford of Ionia, Corrinne Honsowetz of Lyons, Richard Clifford of Saranac, and Harold Clifford of Saranac; grandchildren, Kathryn (Anthony Juddvalkis) Honsowetz of Chicago, ILL, James Clifford of Saranac, Jason Clifford of Ionia, and Gina Clifford of Belding; great grandchild, Hailey Clifford; 2 nieces.
