Luther “Buddy” L. Durand, 82, of Silver Spring, MD passed away on June 10, 2013. Son of the late Edward and Ava Hepner Durand. Survived by his wife, Betty Madison Durand, as well as 4 children; Stephen Durand of Florida, Michael Durand of Damascus, MD, Karen Johnson of Ellicott City, MD, and Cynthia Vogelpohl of Mt. Airy, MD. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
