Mrs. Galloway held various offices in the following organizations: LeValley United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Church Women United. Lucy also was a member of the Central District United Methodist Women, the West Michigan United Methodist Women and received an award for being Church Women United as a Valiant Woman. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Edwin Galloway on June 13, 1976. Surviving are her children, Roberta (Robert) Helms, Clinton Galloway (special friend Kirsten Slowins), Nancy (Norman) McKendry, Gordon (Cheryl) Galloway, Roderick (Bonnie) Galloway and Rodney (Chris) Galloway; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; siblings, Robert Barnard of Grand Rapids, MI, Kenneth (Mildred) Barnard of Franklin, VA, Dale Barnard of Philadelphia, PA, Rachel Zimmer of Portland, MI, Ruth Ann Summers of Vermontville, MI and Lolabelle Whitley of Fyffe, AL.
