Lucy Diane Pugh, 66, passed away at her home on the 6th of June 2022.
Diane was a loving wife, mother, and Nana. She loved to make people smile and seeing everyone around her happy. A longtime employee of Canton Academy’s cafeteria, she considered all the kids she served to be her own. To know her was to love her, which was easy to do. Diane was always known to pick up and home any animal that needed it; that brought her as much joy as anything else. It’s never goodbye, only see you later.
She was preceded in death by: father, John Patrick; mother, Claudine Patrick; brothers, Dewayne Patrick and Eugene Patrick; sister, Nancy Heathcock; and husband, Dossie Pugh.
She leaves behind: son, Josh Pugh (Holly); granddaughters, Anna Kate Pugh and Averi Pugh; brother, Bill Patrick; 6 sisters-in-law whom she loved dearly; and many cousins and very very dear friends.
