Mrs. Lucille Whatley Moore, aged 105, died Tuesday, July 2, at Lakeland Rehabilitation Center in Jackson, finishing well a full life on earth and culminating in one final adventure, her own “Trip to Bountiful,” in which she returned home to reconnect with her first love, the people of Morton, where she spent over 80 years of her life.
