Age 78 of Ionia, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2006. She was born on August 10, 1927. Louise was a member of the Easton United Methodist Church and was a Sunday school teacher. She was a 4-H leader, ran the Service Club at the Ionia Free Fair as well as served as a sewing teacher and worked on election boards for many years. Louise enjoyed traveling, country-western and square dancing and loved to socialize with people and to serve and help others. She had a funny sense of humor, enjoyed laughing, and loved to bake especially cookies. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse in 1981; her mother in 1982; her father in 1969; brothers, Gilbert, Harry, Bill; and sister, Suzanne “Toot”. Surviving are her children, Dave (Marie) Wilson of Williamston, Nancy (Ken) Raymond of Rockford, John (Karen) Wilson of King William, VA, Dan (Cathy) Wilson of Ionia, Dick (Susan) Wilson of Ionia, Jane (Jim) Platschorre of Ionia, Melissa (Joe) Hartman of Ionia; 23 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; and special niece, Cindy (Tom) Hulliberger of Lowell.
