Louis Peter Termine, 86 of Bristol, passed away on the morning of October 17th at the Gregory Wing Nursing Facility in Boothbay. Born in Brooklyn, NY on April 29, 1928, he was the son of Louis Termine and Hannah Scheerer. Raised in Brooklyn, NY by his grandparents, he was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and attended two years of technical college. After school, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1954 – 1956. Upon his honorable discharge from the Army, he owned his own printing business for 30 years, Anchor Lithography in Farmingdale and Copiague, NY. In 1984, with his wife Christine “Lyn” Wanser Termine, and her son Steven, he retired to Bristol, Maine. Upon moving to Maine, he went into into real estate for a period of time. He loved to spend time in his backyard, whether it was tending to his garden or watching the deer and moose. He is survived by his wife, Christine “Lyn” Termine of Bristol; four children, Ellen Termine of Washington state, Glenn Termine of Wantagh, NY, Donna Kear of Bainbridge, NY, and Steven Termine of Bristol, ME; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
